Kitz
When I crashed in wengen I strained my right shin muscle and have deep bruises which aren't allowing me to ski this weekend in kitzbuhel. Its a bummer because I have been looking forward to this race for quite some time. But I guess that's the name of the game. Hopefully I can be in good enough shape for garmisch? Everyday it gets progressively better and better.
Its fun to be in kitz though. The town is going off in such a weird, unique and funny way. I just stepped out of our hotel to a full orchestra or drunk austrians playing nirvanas, it smells like teen spirit. Weird but entertaining.
Kroll killed it today as did the warhorse, andrew weibrecht skiing from 52 to 11th. His second best world cup result ever. Daniel Albrecht crashed yesterday in training and our prayers are with him. The streif has taken its toll so far this year. I hope tomorrow goes off well.
