Super Ketchup

Alright Alright Alright, I'm home. I have been meaning to blog for a bit now but instead I took some time for myself. My time consisted of moving back to Provo from PC, kite boarding Deer Creek (successfully this time), starting a 4000 calorie a day diet (no sugar, I feel really bloated), and too much stuff I don't want to talk about. Any who I did cut my rat tail and I let it fly away at one of my favorite places on this earth, where it is I wont tell you, you will just have to guess.

Blake's tail put mine to shame

I will provide you with some visual aids. If you end up guessing where I left it I will go back up there and find it and send it to you. (Hint-its not in New Zealand) HAHA
Here's some other recent shots I enjoy, hopefully you do too.

I'm surprised more people haven't done this.

Until Next time

Rain Down Under

It's raining. Were on day #2 now of the rain and the computer has been in full force. Emails, video, music, you name it I'm doing it. I have been spending my time immersed in other activities such as crumpet taste testing. We went to the store and there was a sale on crumpets. Either you can get Pams Crumpets for 99 cents or Golden Crumpets for $1.70. After a close inspection I thought Pams were the Crumpets of choice, but Schlopy didn't agree with me. This called for a taste test and low and behold who was right ME!!!!! They tasted the same, so we loaded up. this is my new favorite food! For some reason we cant get them in the United States? (I'm telling you Mom, you should look into importing these!) I also found a recipe for them on the Internet. These are called picklets, which is a certain type of crumpet.

Pikelets Recipe
Pikelets or Scottish Pancakes are a small and sweet pancake best served warm with melted butter or cold with jam and whipped cream. Or pretty much anything else you desire.

* 200 grams / 7 oz of flour
* 1 teaspoon of baking powder
* 1 egg
* A pinch of salt
* 4 tablespoons of white sugar
* 210 ml / 7 fluid oz of milk
* 30 grams / 11⁄2 oz of butter

In a medium sized bowl whisk together the egg, milk, sugar and salt. In a large bowl sift the flour and baking powder. Melt the butter. Pour the egg mixture and butter into the flour and stir quickly until the dry ingredients are moist and smooth with no lumps. Taking care not to over mix the batter. Heat a greased griddle or frying pan, and drop dessertspoons of mixture from the tip of the spoon onto the pan. Cook over a medium heat - too little heat gives heavy and pale pikelets, too much heat is likely to burn. Turn the pikelets as soon as bubbles appear. The pikelets should be golden on both sides.

Enjoy

Peanut Butter Hockey Time Peanut Butter Hockey Time

A little over a week ago our team got together and participated in a group hockey camp. We divided the group into two teams the White, and Black then started learning the basics of hockey. The whole show kind of followed the line of the Mighty Ducks movie. We were all in shab gear, burrowing others equipment, barely able to stand up and after one sprint down the ice we were sucking in air like we just ran a marathon. For the start of the camp w all bought goo gear and looked like we were ready to check each other into the boards.
Our goal was to have a full on hockey game by the end of the week. And we did just that. I felt like we exceeded our expectations in talent and competition. I heard the game was fun to watch as well. When we play hockey in season and it looked kind of like a 8 year old soccer game where all the kids would follow the roaming puck. For this game we were actually spread out, making passes and running plays.
I'm proud to say my White Team (Team Casa Blanca) came out victorious!!!

Nice Canadian Flag Eh!

MENS ALPINE BOLF BLOWOUT!!

Im at it again!!! Too much news too little time.

Well folks its official. We are holding a Golf tournament and dinner/auction for the US Mens Alpine Ski Team. This is your chance to golf with our crew. We will all be there and you can reserve one of us to golf with or create your own foursome. If you want you can just attend the dinner.
All of the proceeds are going toward aiding the unfunded athletes this season, toward an insurance initiative and to future projects. Most donations are tax deductiable.

You better hurry because there are limited numbers for golf and dinner.
Oh, yeah bring your kids too. We will have games and competitions to keep them entertained for a night.

Goodbye Bean

I have to give a special thanks out to my lady Jenny Bean. She was our Ski Team manager for 5 years! She has decided to move on and I'm disappointed because she was the best at what she did. So what better way to go out than the boys throwing a party for her. Well actually she invited us all over to her house and we were eating and conversing then someone put in a Journey's, Don't Stop Believing and the night went wild! It was full of plenty of noise and dancing. We probably kept the whole block up while 20 guys sang the chorus of Cracker's Euro Trash Girl, Styx, Aerosmith, and a ton of 80s synthesizer rock, that for some reason I know the words too.
