Get Ready

Hey there folks,

Get ready for a slap in the face, kick to the shin a major reality check!  Have any of you heard about the pile of garbage the size of the great state of Texas floating around the middle of the Pacific Ocean?  Well here is proof
After watching this clip watch the rest of the clips about garbage island.  This is a major wake up call for all of us.  We are the ones responsible, we are the ones who can make a difference in this world.  All we need to do is get off our lazy butts and spring into action.  We live in our comfortable little bubbles which will soon burst!  The problem is lack of education to the public, lack of environmental protection laws and the manufacturing laws and desire of the companies in making a difference.  The truth is out there we can do is be the change we want to see in the world, one person at a time.  When you view the link send it to your friends and help educate them with what we are doing to ourselves.  Watch the all of the videos, there is a lot of information in VBS.TV, ranging from Environmental, political to music and sport.  Sorry for the language but I feel a lot of the clips are truth.

I will leave you with these Three Words and a little explanation I like to live by.
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
In that order.  1st off we need to reduce the amount we are consuming.  What we do use reuse!  Its simple.  Then when the time comes recycle!

ITS PLAYOFF TIME!!!

I hope I don't prematurely post this but I thought it was hilarious.  You have to be a JAZZ or NBA fan to appreciate it. Look at T Mac's face he looks like an awkward 10 year old kid! haha
I also have to give my props out to Charles Barkley! The man has and will always be a JAZZ fan. He has supported us through the thick and thin. If someone asks me who my favorite person on TV is, it is definitely Charles and the rest of the TNT team. Those guys keep the entertainment coming long after the game has ended.
I guess this whole post will be about the NBA. The other day I met the one and only John Stockton. I guess I can say I am another testament that he is the MAN! He is super humble, very gracious and kind. It was a pleasure meeting him. I used to imitate him and Malone in my drive way shooting hoops as a kid. Playing off some pick and roll situations in my mind.
Enjoy the pic of T MAC

Back Tube

I'm currently sitting here in a trunk cast.  Its fantastic I tell you!  Actually it does make me feel better.   I had a bulging disc out to my right side which was giving me some weird muscle sensations.  I didn't have any pain near the end of the season but I did feel weak.
Now I am in this CAST!!  To get the cast outfitted I basically had to be hung by my neck.  The Dr. put this brace around my neck then I had to slip my arms through these sheep skin loops and he lifted me off the ground.  I was suspended in the air for 15 min with my arms above my head and I could barely touch my toes to the ground.  This put me in an extended position so my back would be in constant traction while wearing the brace.  Dr. West then proceeded to cover my torso in several layers of padding, plaster and fiberglass.  He put me down and I couldn't feel my arms for about 3 minutes! By having my back in this position it allows the bulge to sink back in and heal in the proper position.  I can walk around and perform my daily errands which is nice.  Even though I sweat and cant move too well I feel good.
Here's to a good recovery!
